Stories from Zimbabwe and beyond
New fiction rooted in Zimbabwe and across Africa, told chapter by chapter: to read here, and in time to hear and to watch.
7 chapters so far
In a cosmic meritocracy governed by the Great Mopani Tree, three powerhouses enter the brutal Ascension Culling to ascend to godhood. Amidst frozen wastes and lethal trials, they must master deadly laws of reality before an era of inter-realm conquest begins.
Original stories set where we live: our cities, our countryside, our names, our ways of speaking.
Every chapter is written to be read, and made in time into narration with a voice for each character, and into video.
Each chapter is checked against everything the story has established, then read by a person before anyone else sees it.
